The township has enacted and enforces the Zoning Ordinance and a group of Police Power ordinances. The Zoning ordinance is established and maintained by the Planning Commission and delineates the land use (zones) and building regulations. The Zoning ordinance follows from and is guided by the Grass Lake Charter Township Master Plan, which defines the overall land usage goals and objectives for the township. A zoning map, which defines the specific zoning for each township parcel, can be viewed by clicking on this Zoning Map link.
